The DPS Paladin excels in both PvE and PvP environments. This specialization focuses on triggering random Judgment buffs with a single skill, maximizing their benefits. Critical hits are essential, so talents focus on increasing your critical hit chance while providing bonuses like reduced cooldowns and enhanced damage. This, combined with one-time buff procs, allows for potent burst damage – especially valuable in PvP. Our skills often have reduced cooldowns and offer random enhancements, enabling additional ranged damage.
A notable feature is the synergy with the new Inscription Stone. Our high attack speed allows us to quickly access our main skill with minimal cooldown. The second and third skills automatically reset if the first skill triggers a buff, enabling a swift, customizable skill rotation. Additionally, our sixth skill rewards active play, stacking critical strike and attack speed bonuses indefinitely (with talent). The 'Earthquake' skill is crucial, as critical hits from our first skill reduce its cooldown by 4 seconds. It's recommended to use Earthquake before activating the Inscription Stone for a 4 out of 6-second damage boost.
The DPS Paladin does have some limitations. Firstly, as a melee character, our damage potential can be affected by boss mechanics, and PvP opponents might gain an advantage in spacing. Secondly, our ultimate abilities lack the power seen in other specializations. While better in PvP, some comparable skills on other classes have shorter cooldowns or wider ranges. Despite these limitations and potential comparisons, in practice, the DPS Paladin remains a potent and effective choice.
