Flame Mage is a versatile character that excels in both early and late-game PvE content.
Its simple gameplay and minimal individual mechanics allow players to focus on maximizing rotations and damage output.
A diverse set of ultimate abilities enables adaptation to various situations.
In PvP, maintaining distance is crucial. The replacement skill can be challenging due to its stationary bonus and the first spell's similar requirement. Sticking to the original playstyle is recommended.
PvE content can be successfully completed, albeit not effortlessly. Even the most challenging encounters won't be overwhelming.
Some skills have an AoE format that grants stacks for each target hit, while others work only in single-target mode. Ideally, you should gather all enemies near the main target and perform a combo with the 5th and 4th skills. The 3rd skill should be used on the primary target (boss). This strategy allows you to consistently gain stacks and deal significant damage to the boss. However, it's not always feasible, as mobs in raids and dungeons are temporary, and skilled PvP players won't stand close together.
If you plan to enter a dungeon with many mobs (a rare occurrence), consider upgrading Enh Heat Bomb at talent level 20. Prioritize using the 5th skill when mobs are clustered together.
